Dr. David Naude

Dr. David Naude is both a registered homeopath and phytotherapist (Western Herbal Medicine practitioner),holding dual registrations in each profession. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Technology: Homoeopathy in 2001 from Technikon Natal (now Durban University of Technology/DUT) and subsequently completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Phytotherapy from the University of Johannesburg.

He was a senior lecturer in homeopathy at DUT from 2001 – 2017 and as an academic he was actively involved with teaching, research supervision, the management of various homeopathic clinics and has published and presented homeopathic research internationally.

He currently serves as a member of the Professional Board of Homeopathy, Naturopathy and Phytotherapy and is a member of the following Professional associations:

  • Homeopathic Association of South Africa (HSA)
  • Liga Medicorum Homeopathicus Internationalis (LMHI)
  • South African Society of Integrated Medicine (SASIM)

Currently Dr David Naude runs his homeopathic and phytotherapy practice in Hillcrest (Kwa-Zulu Natal) but remains actively engaged in homeopathic research and works as a professional consultant for the complementary medicine industry.

The practice is easily accessible from both Durban as well as Pietermaritzburg, situated in Hillcrest, and serves patients from the Upper Highway area (Hillcrest, Kloof, Gillitts, Waterfall) and the rest of Durban. Dr David Naude’s practice is conveniently situated approximately one kilometer off from the M13, by taking Exit 28 from Durban or Pietermaritzburg and located within the Centenary Medical Centre.

The international homeopathic medical society Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI), established in Rotterdam in 1925, represents homeopathic physicians in more than 70 countries all over the world.

Homeopathic Association of South Africa (HSA)

Joining the HSA confers membership to a professional association officially recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) and also provides automatic membership to the Liga Medicorum Homeopathica Internasionalis (LMHI)

South African Society of Integrated Medicine (SASIM)

SASIM is a non-profit network of medical practitioners who support the practice of Functional and Integrative Medicine (IM).
